My Mission & Vision

My mission is to swim the English Channel again, and in the process to become the oldest ever to have successfully done so. My career as a physical therapist has been spent principally in the area of restoration, but also in the maintenance and enhancement of the physical functioning of the human body. My challenge is to fine-tune this body and mind by using my knowledge gained as a physical therapist to make a statement about the older athlete and what we on Medicare and drawing social security are able to do.

My Vision? To swim the 23 miles and stumble up the beach in France into the outstretched arms of 300 bare-breasted French maidens. With a vision like that, how can I fail!
